Pendse Wins Travel Award

Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE) graduate student Pushkar Pendse, advised by ChBE assistant professor Jeffery Klauda, received a travel award from Chemical Society of Washington which helped fund his trip to the American Chemical Society's annual March Meeting, in San Diego, Calif. in March. Pendse delivered an oral presentation titled "Study of Ligand Binding Thermodynamics and Proton Translocation in Lactose Permease of Escherichia coli" at the conference.
