ChBE Undergraduate Julia Lamb discusses her research during the event.

Omega Chi Epsilon hosted it's 2nd Annual Undergraduate Research Day this year this past fall. Organized by Lenny Fobe, the goal of this event is to promote undergraduate research within the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at the University of Maryland. The event consisted of several undergraduate researchers presenting their work to volunteer faculty judges. The event was held in conjunction with the Department's Annual Alumni Night, so students could gain experience presenting in front of a professional audience. The top three presenters of this event - Julia Lamb, Ky Wildermuth and Metecan Erdi - are being sent to the Mid-Atlantic AIChE Regional Conference in March to present their research. The Alumni Choice award went to Soliver Fusi.

Congratulations to all!
