2nd Annual Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department Showcase

On April 21, 2023, The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department held its second annual Department Showcase. The Showcase featured posters by our graduate and undergraduate students research in leading areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering. These posters were judged by industry representatives; Kosi Aroh (On Demand Pharmaceuticals), Katherine Vorvolakos (Food and Drug Administration), Aaron Fisher (Ernest Maier Inc) and Benjamin Streifel (Exponent). The winners of the posters were: 1st place graduate: Faraz Burni (advised by Srinivasa Raghavan), 2nd place graduate: Lu Liu (advised by Chen Zhang), 3rd place graduate: Gaurav Iyer (advised by Chen Zhang), 1st place undergraduate: Rae Correll-Brown (advised by Peter Kofinas), 2nd place undergraduate: Hannah LaPadula (advised by Peter Kofinas) and 3rd place undergraduate: Jillian Schwartz (advised by Srinivasa Raghavan). New this year was a very successful alumni panel in which students interacted and alumni shared great insights. The panel consisted of; Ryan Naehr, Melissa Garner, Paul Rueger, Nina Uchida and Priya Gajendiran.
