Adil Zuber - a UMD alumnus (B.S., 2009), adjunct faculty member of Frederick Community College, and graduate student/researcher at the University of Maryland Baltimore - was recently interviewed regarding his role as a techical advisor for the non-profit organization, Industrial Commons, which celebrated its one-year anniversary on November 12, 2016.  Industrial Commons is a 'makerspace' (i.e. tangible hackerspace) offering the use of tools and equipment to the public, unaffordable to most, as a means of encouraging innovation. Zuber is the group's technical advisory, providing STEM education to enthusiastic minds.

"This should be knowledge and this should be technology that is open to everyone for the benefit of the community," Zuber stated.
