M Squared Strategies is a small, Washington, DC-based management consulting firm providing support to government clients. Our consultants currently serve as trusted advisors to senior executive officers in some of the largest departments in the U.S. Federal Government.
Through our Applied Management Professionals Program, M Squared Strategies offers Masters degree students a rare internship opportunity consulting to federal government clients. From June to August, Applied Management Professionals (AMPs) work in teams at a government client site under the direction of an experienced M Squared Project Manager. This unique internship offers motivated students the experiences they need to identify and pursue fulfilling careers that shape and improve the operations of the U.S. Federal Government.
In addition to government client assignments, AMPs work collaboratively on a project to enhance M Squareds corporate structure. We also offer a one-on-one mentorship program, host networking events and coordinate excursions to local attractions.
Projects may include:
Budget and On-Boarding Process Design
Business Process Design and Implementation
Communication Planning
Meeting Management and Facilitation
Organizational Design
Strategic Planning
More information is available online at http://www.msquaredstrategies.com/internships-amp-program.htm. UMD Students have until 2/13/12 to apply (extended deadline).
