Thriving Earth Exchange Community Air Quality Kick-Off

Thriving Earth Exchange (TE) - Brandywine, MD, project - is hosting a public forum focused on air quality and pollution concerns in Prince George's County, but specifically in Brandywine where the asthma rate for chilren is extrememly high.

Brandywine residents caring neighbors are collaborating with community leaders and experts to discuss what's happening to our air, how power plant pollution affects our health and ways to live healthier lives. Your participation will help shape policies for Brandywine to better serve the community.

  • Learn: How air quality and vehicle pollution affects your health
  • Share: Your concerns about air quality and pollution

Led by ChBE Associate Professor Akua Asa-Awuku, this event will launch the Community Air Quality Monitoring  portion of the program, so that parents, schools and other community members can learn how to protect their health and advocate for clearner air policy.
